A lot of my genealogy research is in New York City (NYC) so I spend a good bit of time looking for good historical maps and looking at blogs for information about the past in NYC. So I decided to put together this list.

  • NYC 1852 This is one of my favorite David Rumsey maps. It is combined with a Google map so you can see the present and 1852 city by zooming
