I’ve not written much about the 2020 election in a while. At least not directly. I have written some about the consequences such as the January 6 insurrection and possible coup attempt. But I thought the bogus claims of election fraud would be over by now The claims have been the subject of many lawsuits but evidence has never been found. But the claims still live on in the minds of many Republicans.

Here in Pennsylvania, as in many places, there have been multiple recounts and investigation but no evidence of fraud. In a case now before the courts, Republicans in the Pennsylvania Senate want to subpoena sensitive voter information as part of their partisan inquiry into the 2020 election.

It seems to me this is not only a danger to all the voters of Pennsylvania (including me) but a form of voter suppression as well.
