Not content with causing chaos in the United States by undermining democracy and enhancing the spread of COVID-19, Republicans are now seeking to spread their chaos to the international stage. Yes, their crazy actions could cause a world-wide financial disaster.

Mitch McConnell and his fellow Republican Senators are creating great uncertainty by their refusal to pay our debts (otherwise known as raising the debt ceiling). Mitch McConnell will not allow the 50 Republican Senators to vote to the increase the debt limit (see https://www.businessinsider.com/mcconnell-vote-default-debt-ceiling-government-funding-shutdown-pelosi-schumer-2021-9 ). Apparently Republican Senators are not allowed to think for themselves or maybe they are allowed but just incapable.
