The Republican party was once an important part of our democracy but now it is just a disgrace.

On January 6, 2021 the United States Capitol was attacked by an angry mob. This act of domestic terrorism was certainly a threat to our democracy. We need to understand how and why this attack on the United States Capitol occurred and find ways to prevent future attacks.

In the House, 35 Republicans voted the bill to establish the bipartisan Commission to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol and 175 opposed it. In the Senate the bill was filibustered by the vast majority of Republican Senators. (see Republicans again disgrace the United States)

What are Republicans afraid of?

I hope this tactic backfires and they lose more votes because of it.
