Federal prosecutors in the District of Columbia are beginning to find and charge some those who invaded the Capitol on January 6 (1/6 if need a short term). The apparent goal of the terrorists was to overturn the results of the 2020 election. They failed.

It’s only the beginning of the Capitol terror hunt. There were many involved in this attempt but so far only a limited number have been charged. Let us hope that many more will be charged with crimes. It may take a while to find some. So although some of the terrorists have left DC for their homes, they will have to keep in mind that the police could find them months or even years later.

Another hope would be that those who incited this riot, including President Trump and Rudy Giuliani, will be among those charged with crimes.

Also let hope they find the reason behind this failure to protect Congress and the Capitol. This should never happen again.
