We are now over a month past the 2020 election. The results were clear. Joe Biden won and President Trump lost.
It was not even close. Biden won a clear majority in the Electoral College and won the popular voted by 7 million. But many Republicans denied the obvious and would not admit that Joe Biden was the President-elect.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell today joined the small group of rational congressional Republicans by stating that Joe Biden is the President-elect.
Here is a section of that article that should be of interest to Georgians thinking about their vote in the run-off election.
Still, some including GOP Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue of Georgia have refused to accept Biden’s win. Both lawmakers will try to keep their seats in Jan. 5 runoffs that will determine whether McConnell and the GOP keep control of the Senate.
The ability to accept reality is rather a low standard in anyone but both Republican candidates fail to meet it.
