Masks are commonsense public health methods to stop the spread

Wearing a mask or not should not be a political statement. Masks are commonsense public health methods to stop the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. You should wearing a mask when in public both to protect yourself and those you come in contact with.

The mask itself can be a statement, a fashion accessory, or whatever you want it to be. I have several masks.

The picture here is of my current favorite mask. The mask says “Science Matters”. I think it does whether you are trying to treat or prevent disease, decide on environmental policy, build a bridge, or just about anything. Think about it; would you like to go over a bridge designed by someone with no understanding of physics?

Or if you feel strongly about something different, your mask could say something very different. It could be something like ‘Biden is Better’ or ‘Trump 2020’.

Or maybe make a fashion statement. Choose your mask to compliment your outfit. Or just have a mask you like the looks of.

The point is you have tremendous flexibility on the type of mask you choose. Exercise your freedom of choice, the life you save may be your own. You could also save many others. This will help stop the spread of the virus and contribute to the recovery of our economy.

So a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN situation. Wear a mask.
