Trumpcare may be back and sooner than you think. The first attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare failed before even coming to a vote because of opposition by extremely conservative Republicans.
Although President Trump insisted during the campaign and again after his election that he would repeal and replace Obamacare on day 1 of his presidency.
When the Republican plan known as the American Health Care Act was withdrawn, I thought and Paul Ryan seemed to agree that Obamacare would be with us for a while.
But now it appears that there will be another attempt to pass Trumpcare soon. President Trump has now been in office for about 90 days. And There may be an attempt to get a repeal and replace bill in place by the end of his first 100 days in office.
Although we have not seem in final bill, it seems likely to be more acceptable to hard-right Republicans because it allow states to opt out on some patient protections of the Obamacare replacement.
