Just picked a painting by Thomas Allingham titled An Irish Village. Subject matter and scene would date it 1800’s.
Interesting. As far as I know my Thomas Allingham was a farmer so this may just be a coincidence of names. But maybe he did paint. Do you know anything about the painter of your picture?
