President Trump believes the probe of Russian interference in the 2106 election is a “witch hunt” by angry democrats. I am angry but not a Democrat and believe the evidence is very much in conflict with the President’s claims.

But I am getting a bit ahead so let’s go back to President Trump’s claim.

President Trump has repeatly been making this claim with no evidence

During the House Judiciary Committee hearing , Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and the F.B.I. director Christopher Wray addressed President Trump’s claim of Angry Democrats running the Russia probe by denying being Democrats and being angry. Both are Republicans appointed by President Trump to their positions.

Mr. Rosenstein told lawmakers, “I’m not a Democrat, and I’m not angry.” Mr Wray said something similar.

I am angry but not a Democrat. I am angry with President Trump who continually lies to the American people and tries to block the investigation into Russian interference in the 2106 election.

I am angry but not a Democrat. I am angry with the Republicans in Congress who enable the President instead of acting as an independent branch of government as the Constitution demands.

I am angry but not a Democrat. I am angry at the Republican Senate Majority leader who not only denied President Obama a chance to appoint a Supreme Court Justice and will allow President Trump to appoint Justices despite being under investigation .

I am angry but not a Democrat. I am angry for what the Republican party has become. It was once a highly principled party. Republicans became known as the Party of Ignorance, because of their oppostion to science and many other types of knowlege.

As an independent voter, I am angry because I used to have a meaningful choice when voting.
